Im kinda strapped for funds right now till i hook a job after getting laid off.
can anyone help out here?

What kind of book(s) are you looking for ? I'm guessing you look for a beginners book as you put 30k in your profile.
where do you live (shipping-cost) ?
I wrote a Go book myself (see my signature) and might be able to
arrange something like a viewing copping for reduced price.
it might be a bit difficult if you just started to play, but a good challenge.
