does messaging work correctly ?

at present: does messaging work correctly ?
I (tried to) sent CarlJung one,
but even after several minutes neither the
'Sent' nor the 'outbox' folder show anything.
Any ideas by anyone?

Messaging works fine for me. However, I notice that sometimes your posts come out very strange Tommie. I don't mean the content, but sometimes it stretches out and causes me to horizontal scroll a lot to see your post. I think it might have to do with your sig?

The markup in your sig is broken. Maybe that's the cause?

and outbox=1, Sent=0,
hence it seems successful.
However why Sent=0?

IIRC, a message is in your Outbox until it is read, at which point it moves to your Sent box. This means you can delete messages in your Outbox, and the person it was meant for will not see it. Not so with Sent, which have already been seen.

By the way, Tommie, in phpBB the [url] BBCodes don't use quotation marks around URLs like vBulletin did. So you can fix your sig up simply by removing all the " " around the links

There's a bit more to it than that - nesting of opening and closing tags is all messed up
