Seems kinda bizarre to me, but I guess some people get turned on by bunny ears.

I never have understood why a woman with brains would let herself be treated as a sex object like that.

Yeah, but there are better ways to do it. Such as this:
You can be cute without looking brainless.

Hehe, cultural differences I guess. I'm pretty certain from what little I know, that the Koreans dig the bunny as much as we would dig the, erm, funny shadow behind the rook.

I'm still waiting for the Yoda Norimoto photo shoot - bunny ears, fluffy tail. That's what I'm talking about...

The photo shoot is baduk-themed, so she is being recognized for that as well as her other, um, assets.

Sula (and the entire Korean asia games team) is featured in the January issue of 바둑 (Baduk Magazine).
During some of the photos for the asia games award ceremony, Sula appears to improvise bunny ears (or horns possibly...)
random news article featuring photo mentioned aboveDo I have some kind of point here about how the one photo leads me to feel the other photo is not exactly out of character? Probably not.

Cute doesn't mean brainless? Braininess doesn't mean a plain nerd?
Look, this is cultural and we here should be careful throwing stones. Perhaps it has become different today, but in my own lifetime it was kept secret which movie sex symbol actresses had advanced degrees* -- because being sharp witted instead of a "dumb blonde" expected to have a negative career impact.
I think the intent here is an image "you can be both brainy and beautiful"
* example -- do you know upon whose work the multiple frequency technology that your cell phone uses is based?
