Where are my WBaduk games going?

Hey folks, maybe someone here can find the solution to this riddle.
I just broke into solid 7d on ORO, and being particularly proud of one of the games I played against the 7d's there (Who are very different from the 6d's... surprisingly so), I wanted to post it here for analysis. Unfortunately, when I went into my profile through oro, and found the games saved on my computer, I attempted to use THEIR copy-paste feature... copying it from that directory to my desktop, unfortunately, it never showed up on my desktop, and it's not actually a copy-paste apparently, it's a cut-paste. So the game isn't in the original place anymore either.
Furthermore, I have a number of other games in there, and when I actually navigate to that folder (Windows 7), there don't seem to be any games there... Even though WBaduk tells me that they're there....
What's going on?

Look in C:\Program Files (x86)\WBaduk\Gibo
Notice the (x86) part.

Thanks for the reply,
Looked around, I'm not running 64 bit, so I don't know why there would be a separate x86 program files... and I don't see one. Even hopped onto my command prompt and used that to search instead... no dice.

In my case they are in "C:\Program Files\WBaduk\Gibo"

Settings -> Diagrams/Gibo.
Have you checked the Auto Save checkboxes?

Yep, it was checked.
Instead of the copy-paste, I just tried clicking "view Gibo" on one of my old games (which seems to work fine), followed by clicking the "others" button and choosing save... I get a read access error.

I have the same problem. The games were visible for me on Vista but on 7 they are not. There is an external SGF editor that can be downloaded from the Wbaduk site which makes the games "visible" when you instruct it to open one. However if you try to copy a record it indicates that no such file exists... I would also be curious to know if there is a solution.

I'm using Win7 and the ngfs saves nicely on the filesystem.

Here, they are saved already on my computer (c:\programs\orobaduk\gibo) - so no need to open and save them. Simply viewing gibo online works fine. To convert them to sgf I use MultiGo, to move them around on my harddisk the usual means. There shouldn't be complications. A tool for mass-converting ngf to sgf would be nice though.

That works! Thanks, wow, Multigo sees them when even my os won't...

Thanks that's interesting. I've been using Stonebase, which is supposed to read NGFs, but since I've been using 7 it hasn't been able to see them.

What kind of witchcraft is that? It's not supposed to be like that.

Limited users do not have write access to the program files directory. In particular this is the case for non elevated apps on vista/win7.
This mechanism might be responsible for the strange behavior you observe.
To make old apps which still write stuff in their own app directory still work some compatibility shim redirects the new files to inside the user directory.
Since this shim is not active for new apps(including explorer) the files are not visible in program files, but only in the directory they got redirected to.
I think the dir where they get redirected to is:
C:\Users\<YourName>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore
