Seattle Go Center-ers?

Hey all, I'm going to be in Seattle this summer, and I wanted to see if there were any people from the L19 community that frequent the Seattle Go Center. Or go occasionally. Or have thought about going.

There are a few Go Center regulars on L19. I'm usually in on Tuesday night and I like to play at the monthly AGA tournaments. Feel free to contact me with any questions you have about the SGC. I would be happy to show you around.

Yeah I visit here and there (I go to UW-Seattle) when I'm not playing SC2 or trying to finish homework due in a few hours

. Usually on Tuesday nights.

I'm a regular for kyu lessons on Wednesday. I'll be trying to show up more outside of that.
There is a KGS room for the SGC.

Oh yeah, we should mention that there is a group meeting in Uwajimaya on Wednesdays too that is separate from the SGC.

Good to know there's some people here that go there! Redbeard, I may have to take you up on your offer. Do you mean around the SGC or around the area in general? Unfortunately I won't know where I'll be staying (and thus when I can get there on Tuesday nights) until May 10th or so. My first visit there will probably be May 17th. Araban and Redbeard: I look forward to maybe seeing you guys on Tuesdays! oren: I may decide to drop in on occasion, hope to see you there if I do.

Well, I specifically meant the SGC, but I could show you around town as well

. There are a lot of "touristy" things in Seattle that are fun to do, but you never get around to when you live here. The Seattle Center, Museum of Flight, Japanese Gardens, art museums, Farmer's Market and Waterfront, etc, etc. Schedules permitting I would be happy to show you around town.

Would you happen to be going to the SGC this Tuesday Redbeard? I'm going to try and make it around 6 or so, and possibly bring a fellow intern.

Will you be there next week as well? It looks like I won't be able to make it this Tuesday. I heard we have to spend a lot of time setting up our first Tuesday.

I am usually there every Tuesday unless something more important comes up. I don't have anything else planned at the moment.
Don't forget that the SGC is open many other days than Tuesday. Keep an eye on the website for schedules of classes, tournaments and seminars, as well as the hours we are open.

I was out in Seattle this past weekend, but didn't have time to visit the center. I wasn't even sure where it was until me and my girlfriend drove right by it. Her response, "Oh yeah, that's where that is." -- almost like she expected me to know that!

So I got within 50 feet of it, but didn't quite make it all the way there. Hopefully next time!
