Life In 19x19

Had a strange experience today when I tried to do some problems at www.goproblems.com.

I got the message from the site as it loaded my problem that no Java was detected on my system. I regularly run KGS using Sun Java 6 without issue.

I'm using Ubuntu 10.04 and Firefox for Ubuntu version 3.6.16.

Any ideas?

What happens when you open kgs website and click "play go now", i.e. run the browser based cgoban?
