There are new very nice applications for iOS:

It is not in the Japan app store (yet?). I hope it is only a timing issue! It looks great.

The interface is really nice, but unless I'm blind, I don't see any mis-tap prevention. I finally managed to get my first game, and I ended up with two serious mistakes from the stone not going where I intended. I'm going to stick with playing onTygem, even though the Wbaduk program is superior in every other way.

The Korean version is available, but not the English one. I emailed their support address, but so far no reply.

Weird. I rarely play on Wbaduk, but I played a game last night and don't think it appeared on my win/loss count (and it didn't save the game, although I have it set to). Hmmm.

My first game wasn't saved either, though given the early mis-tap, I can't say I'm sad about that at all. I'd love to try again, but I can't for the life of me get anyone on wbaduk to play. Automatch seems to take about half a day to find a game, and manually making requests hasn't proven any better. I've tried several of the servers, but it's all the same.

Change server to Korea 1,2,3 or China 1,2,3. It looks like default server is not used for playing.

I can not find this app in the iStore I access from China. Is it not available for some reason?

I wasn't on the default server.

I played another game on the iPad client, and my win/loss record and rank are still the same, and it didn't save my game, even though I have it out auto save. I played the game on a China server this time (last time I used Japan--same result).

Weird.

I think you can get your games online via www.

First problems I've had with the wbaduk app for iphone was today. I got dropped from 2 games and could find no way to go back and continue them.
