Question about "foes"

(1) Is this visible to people?
(2) If I make someone a "foe", will that prevent their posts from showing up under "view unread posts"?

Regular members, no. Admins, yes. Mods, not sure.

Yes, unless they are an admin or mod. You can't ignore us.

After some experimentation, I can now contradict Joaz. Ignoring a user does not prevent their latest missives from showing up under "view unread posts".

Hmmm...what happens if you then try to read the unread post by that user?

Sorry about the confusion. I thought that it removed all traces of the 'foe'.
I checked under the hood, and there are no obvious settings to change the way it works.
