Go Videos Website - Looking for contributions

I'm starting a website devoted to videos on the game of Go to try and popularize the game and reach out to more people, and I'm looking for people who also want to see this vision realized to make contributions. My name is Jonathan, I'm a 4d, perhaps you've seen me play a malkovich game. I studied in Korea at the Yu Changhyuk Baduk Dojo for a year, and I am also the author of the "So You Want to Play Go?" series. I've had the idea to do this for a long while, and the project is coming along nicely. The final project will be a website with at least 50 videos on the game of Go, mostly aimed at beginners and intermediate players, and then expand from there into all sorts of topics. I wanted to make Go fun and lively, and also make it easier for people to introduce Go to their friends and family, so that the community can grow. It's done in the same vein as my books: making Go interesting for everyone.

If you like this idea, you can visit the project page at:

As for what you get for contributing, you can get free video lectures, as well as free signed copies of "So You Want to Play Go?" depending on your contribution!

Good luck. I've spent some years on a blog which features, among other stuff, go videos. Actually, it was the first go videoblog available on the net. Currently, though I still write and post a video from time to time (solely for my enjoyment), the activity from the blog has decreased a lot.

Sincerely, I'm doubtful about the success of such a site. So, good luck with it!!!
