2k vs 8k [ASR Game] (Moved)

Post by hailthorn011 »

This was a really fun game. In the end, I think I gave up too much trying to develop the center. I decided to target the center at :b47: and it worked out pretty well. My opponent also added that had my endgame been a bit better, it probably would have been closer.

Any suggestions?

Edit: Whoops, I meant to put this here.

Thanks for the review. I definitely agree with your assessments. My big problem is is that on some of these moves I didn't read it out as well as I should have or I took a point mistakenly believing it was big. For example :b37: was a mistake as you pointed out, but I thought it was a disadvantageous to allow white to play around that area. I guess ultimately my biggest problems are:

1. Not knowing when to tenuki

2. Failing to recognize big points

3. Reading errors

Which basically means I have problems a lot of people have. But I'm pretty sure these are moves I can recognize if I have the patience to try. Again, thanks for the review. It'll definitely help!
