OpenGotha 3.24 now supports AGA formats (tdlist input, outputs results in AGA format)! It is an open source Java program, and I believe it is widely used in Europe(?).
My friend Bart wrote some code over a year ago to do this, but he did it in a quick way that wasn't easy to integrate back into the main OpenGotha source, and it had a few quirks you had to deal with. We used it for one tournament and I thought it was a really nice program. Now Luc Vannier has taken the extra step to integrate Bart's code. Thanks Bart and Luc for your work!
We will probably try this for our tournament in March (although I also promised to beta test another solution... maybe I use/test both at the same time?
). If anyone holding an AGA tournament sooner has a chance to try it let us know here.
