I registered to kaya.gs, despite my reservations. For some reason all emails I received (registration + "I forgot my password -> auto-generated password) are empty (there are headers but no body in the email). So I have no possibility of trying the alpha now.

A kind person forwarded your post here to the admins. Hopefully it will be dealt with quickly.

You should receive the correct email any second now.
In case issues persist you can email info@kaya.gs.

We updated the mailer library we use and it required some code tweaks.

seems to work now - I got some three empty emails first, then one with text. Now I got the account and logged in. Let's see what this is about.

Seems to work pretty nicely. The true test, I believe, is whether the server will be adopted by players and if so, how can it scale up technically.
