Tygem on the iPad...risky for 4G access?!

I have my iPad 3 with 4G access using AT&T. When I'm using my iPad outside my WiFi connection I use my cellular data connection which is the 4G with AT&T. When I try connecting to Tygem using the 4G access...I get a warning that it's usually connecting via WiFi but that I might get charged a fee for using it on the 4G access. Does anybody know if I'm risking a heavy fee for using my 4G access while connecting to Tygem or should I ignore the warning and go ahead and use my 4G access with Tygem? Thanks.

Unless I am completely misunderstanding your post, you should call AT&T customer support and ask them.

It is only about data plan. There is no special Tygem tax

No need to ask ATT

obviously, but if he is getting that message, it might mean that he does not understand his data plan, which I why I recommended he contact AT&T.

That's normal for the Tygem app when not connecting over wifi. The developers were obviously paranoid, perhaps because of poor data plan availability in asia? In any event, the app has no particularly large data requirements, at least unless there's some secret audio or video feature I haven't seen. In any event, the device does give you the tools you need to track your data usage, so if you have any concern just keep an eye on things. I have not had any problems with data usage from the tygem app.
