Life In 19x19

So, I'm staying at my girlfriend's house until the 10th, and playing Go on this computer is rather a hassle, so I'm pretty much having to take a break while I'm here. And that sucks! But, oh well.

However, the plus side is that I'm trying to teach her how to play. It really is sort of difficult for me to do. So, I think I'm going to have her visit a few tutorial sites and whatnot. Anyway, just thought I'd say this for some odd reason.

so... you are staying at your girlfriend's house and then you want to play online Go looks like someone is addicted

teaching your girlfirend seems like a much more attractive alternative. now you have to hope she will like the game just as much as you (do)

Yes, I'm addicted, I admit it! But it's such a good game. I hope she'll get into it, but I doubt she'll get as into it as me lol

I remember when I taught my girlfriend how to play poker. We played for kisses.

I thought the plus side would be that you're staying at your girlfriends house.

The plus side is being able to do both! lol

Mine is very competitive. That's why it's hard to teach her. She hates losing to me..., so it's hard explaining that it takes time to garner any skill in Go. It's not like the games she normally plays where you can often times stumble into victory or have an easy time with the learning curve.

Give her a decent handicap.
