I am planning a trip to El Salvador in March and was wondering if there were any players I could meet to talk about Go and perhaps play a few games.

You might try to ask players from Costa Rica about any in El Salvador. BTW, you are expected to export go to that country:(

Here in Costa Rica we don't know about anybody playing in El Salvador.

Actually one person from there wanted to learn and get in the old GoDiscussions.com asking for reference and help. I provided some guidance in where to buy and what to do as an start... but no news since then.
