I have nothing to say. I just thought that it would be nice to have thread with this title. ;)

Doesn't this thread belong in the KGS forum?

Sounds like a thread showing people when to make use of empty triangles.

At least 50% of my empty triangles were caused by former misreads. Another >=50% of these empty triangles are directly related to losing the respective games

I have no statistics to back me up, but I am under the impression that the likelihood that an empty triangle is the right move to play is directly proportional to how far along you are in the game. Right in the beginning? Usually horrible. Last couple moves? Generally good to get that extra point, as the shape weakness and inefficiency doesn't matter.

My technique to get bent out of shape is to answer my opponent's moves. Is there a better one?

The contrasting off topic thread title is "How to bend into good shape" and is for sharing yoga tips.
