Life In 19x19

So for some time now I've been surprised at the lack of MLP:FiM and go mixing. In particular, I can find basically no fan art based on both the show and go. I'm not big into fan art myself, but this seemed very unfortunate. As a result, I found an online pony maker and took the time to make this MLP original character.

I based the mane off of Hikaru from Hikaru no Go and the coat color is supposed to be similar to Japanese kaya wood. His cutie mark is the Shusaku diagonal.

His name is Kosumi.

I was sceptical too, then someone told me to search for clop clop on Reddit.

So I thought about the fact that I made this pony an earth pony (and not a unicorn) and how hard it would be for him to play the stones. Then, suddenly, I was writing a fanfic. Never posted one of those either... Is that how this gets started?

The story does feature go playing, so if you read that and are a strong player and realize that my reasoning for moves or the moves themselves are terrible then let me know and I can change it.

Anyone who knows me at all knows I'm a major fan of MLP. My avatar on this site is of a pony named Blackjack from the story Fallout: Equestria - Project Horizons. I haven't created any Go/MLP crossover fanart, mainly because I lack the ability and haven't even made an attempt at it yet, but I did modify my KGS client in completely unnecessary ways.
It also has byo-yomi countdown using character voices from the show.

My daughter thinks that looks beautiful. She's now screaming Rainbow Dash at the top of her lungs.
