Life In 19x19

Hello, I was hoping I could somehow get my username here changed to Ootakamoku, to make it easier for some other users to recognize me here. I know Im asking alot but.. pretty please

Why not just create an account with that name and use it?

Maybe I should and maybe thats the way Ill go if there is no alternative. But would be nice to keep my existing few posts to retain consistency.

Maybe it is better to contact an admin directly. I remember that our member "Marcel Grünauer" once asked to change his user name (I forgot his old user name). IIRC the admin who did the renaming was Joaz Banbeck.

I did not realize that. I guess I am used to go servers.

To be technical, if they are guidelines then they do not ban multiple accounts. If they do ban them then they are rules.

Alternate accounts are usually deleted immediately up discovery. The only exception is when it is an honest mistake, we may delay so that information can be transferred. ( FWIW, that is probably what we would have done here had the OP started a second account )

The core account is usually not banned for creating the second account. But it can happen.

Perceived intent weighs heavily in these matters.
