go9dan?

After a big splash last year, I feel like go9dan faded quickly into relative obscurity. On a whim I visited their site today and it looks like they are searching for investors to establish themselves as a psuedo gambling site ("Play go for real money!")? Does anyone have any info on the current status / ultimate fate of go9dan?
