All the events are McMahon tournaments, not Swiss. So you don't get to play the tip top players, like in the WAGC. Also, there are no professionals allowed - you can guess why.

However, some pros may give commentaries.
To enter, you must be nominated by your national federation, and have a passport.
There is no sponsorship. (Who knows, some may appear.)
There are 5 sections:
1 Men's Individual (13th-16th)
2 Women's Individual (13th-16th)
3 Youth (Under 21) (20th to 23rd)
4 Pair Go (20th to 23rd)
5 Team Go (3 player team) (17th to 19th)
Pair and Team Go can have 2 teams from each country.
Men's, Women's, and Youth can have 5 players from each country.
Accommodation: There are hotels available at "special rates" close to the venue
