Managed to squeeze in win against a 1d. I don't pay much so I like to review all of my games. Comments much welcomed! Thanks in advance.

Would also love comments after my "end of comments" I just knew at that point I would win. Please critique me there too.

Nice kill.

23: I love this move. It may not be best, but it is consistent.

34: Your possible variation for him does not work. You clamp at F11 on move 39. So he has to play 38 at E11.

39: This burns a ko threat. Just play F11

93: Just play P15. He can't hurt your Q13 stone.

38: this certainly solidly captures, but it also loses a lot of endgame play on the left side, I would have considered just extending instead, his stones are so weak there, let them struggle.

Otherwise, not much to say, twas brutal :)

I also like 28, thinking big.

For :b25::

I think an extension on the side might be better.
But this move runs and sets up for potential future territory in the c8 area
I agree something like C10 or C11 directly might be better. W is already alive, so the cap feels like a floater (also, shape problems?).
Also, C10 or C11 directly is much better for "potential future territory" than :b25:.

I've been taught that 9 is the correct answer when you've played nirensei and that the sequence from 15 is the reason. Also, you omitted the last move from that sequence, which is to make a tiger's mouth. Playing tengen to expand your moyo is really not often a good move, and especially not when you've got a honte move to play.

Thanks for all the comments everyone!
Joaz & Shaddy would the tigers mouth be the best move instead of the tengen? For move 23?

Ed: I definitely agree that an extension would be better.

Shapenaji: For 28 Are you talking about my move or my opponents? Yes I definitely agree that the cut is a good move. It limits me from gaining territory on the side. Just wondering?

thanks again everyone

Sorry, meant 39, when you atari'd. It let you immediately capture the stone, but you lost the ability to play B15, extending to G13 would have left more aji, and while he can run, you have a stone at Tengen, you'd LOVE for him to run, because then Tengen will get even more use.

I don't know if the tiger's mouth would be the best move, but I would play it in a heartbeat. All I know for certain's that the tengen is wrong.
