I think that the normal reading for one of the Japanese players is Anzai Nobuaki.

And the other would be Ida Atsushi.

However, I don't think they'll be in the tournament too long either way.

I'm debating whether Japan is being lazy and sending a b-team or if they're making a committed effort to getting their younger players on the international scene as early as possible to gain experience. Either way, it seems like another year where Japan will get no victories.

You're assuming they chose these people. It's very possible that they asked other "A-List" players, but they declined (because of the short time settings of course).
