Is maybe far fetched and impossible, but what i would like is that (as on sensei's library we can link to other pages (in sensei's library ) by putting them in [brackets] without haveing to use to typ thewhole http link.

(I am rather lazy :lazy:)

That would be difficult to do without interfering with the BBCode parsing. Some alternate syntax would need to be devised, e.g.:

Code:
[sl]takabasami[/sl]
[sl=niken tobi]

It should be doable just with the bbcode, at least as much as I know about it. Not sure how much work it would actually be, though, so I'll leave it up to an actual admin to say that.

Maybe I'll take a look at it and see if I can come up with anything.

Added. You can use two syntaxes:
Code:
[sl=TanukiNoHaraTsuzumi]Cool Tesuji[/sl]
[sl]TanukiNoHaraTsuzumi[/sl]

Cool Tesuji
TanukiNoHaraTsuzumi

Or I could just wait a few minutes and watch fwiffo get it done. ;)

Well, it's the exact kind of thing that BBCode is good at. One technical limitation of BBCode though - it (probably) won't work to link to SL subpages; you'll have to use the [url] tag for that.

Yeah, I was pretty sure this was the case, but didn't want to say "Oh this is super easy" and then get everyone's hopes up and have one of you guys mumbling under your breath at me.

I just posted a new thread describing the different ways of embedding SGF files. There's also this thread describing how to make diagrams.

Alright, I've made the SGF and Diagram explanations global announcements, and I've added another describing the misc. other features like the sl tag and smilies. They're above the line everywhere, so nobody should have any trouble finding them.
