We're picking longshots?

Fine, then I'll shout for Rui Naiwei.

What happens e.g. if Rui Naiwei loses today? Is she out then?

Seems so; single-elimination ?

All the Japanese pros are out ( Mr. Murakawa was the last one ).
Four Chinese pros vs. four Korean pros remaining.

In my book it's an even game before move 89. But with that very move Black starts to give White the whole upper side, that's too much. I'd have played J16.

I guess Kim must be willing to pay the new counting fee introduced in recent tournaments, which applies to the losing player who refuses to resign.

To me :w32: is An overplay but :b43: is almost as if black acknowledges a technical mistake.

Later in the ko mid-bottom white gains a lot while replying to Black's threats.

I think Black overestimated her overall thickness.

I'm guessing it's a joke as all other games ended by resignation.

The situation on both boards right now :

Tang Weixing (Black) vs Park Junghwan (White) :
Black bottom left is dead but he can kill white on the right side
Image

Shi Yue (Black) vs Kim Jiseok (White) :
Game seems even for both
