Although it's not totally new, a local initiative was publicly announced today.
I bring it to the attention of our go friends who visit Amsterdam.

Book store Scheltema has a go game set available for public use.

If you happen to visit Amsterdam, you can of course visit the Amsterdam go club and/or the European Go Cultural Centre, or arrange a game yourself, but during opening hours you can also use the go game set at Scheltema. Scheltema is in the city centre. Address: Rokin 9, a 10 minute walk from central station. Use of the set is free, and no entry fees, drinks/beverages or purchases are required. Scheltema is open 7 days a week. On Saturdays between 16 and 19 hrs, you can probably meet and play members of the Amsterdam go club as well. Meet them at the 3rd level (that's 4th floor for some?) at the science department. Smoking is not allowed
