Black looks to invade at p18 and hoping to reinforce white's invasion at to side. But, butting by white was a good move. Butting was an emergency move to gain sente. But, I could not do empty triangle or do one point jump so I risked invasion at top to go to left side.

That's move 28 I don't understand. Why didn't you play 28 @ O16 ?

White still has H17 and then K16. I was hoping for o18 or n16. If n16 I do one point jump or leave it and go to left side.

Nice kill.

Overall, you built a lot of power on the lower side and came within a whisker of having it all neutralized. I completely agree with Tryphon's suggestion of O16 for move 28. It would have connected your guys and kept him locked in the corner.

BTW, earlier, at move 10, R6 looks like the proper direction. It is a long extension off of the stones up top. ( Note that it is the same theme of making your stones work together over long distances. )

that was not a good move. i can say that because i can think of few moves that is better than that. (example p17)
edit: this was regarding white's head

for black 28 is actually aji-keshi. because white will play P17

I agree with Joaz about move 10, the difference is not huge, but it is there - the right side is simply bigger.

As for 28, while I agree that it is strange, and the suggested move better - I would play n15.

Sacrifice at O18?

My reasoning for O3 was to give equal strength to handi stones. :)

Sacrifice at O18?

correct answer is "it is better to play somewhere else".
if you want to play there..i rather play without sacrifice and push. (it is same without sacrifice)

The sacrifice at O18 is aji-keshi. Save it for a ko threat. Just play O16 and be strong - let him worry about his weaknesses.

If I try to force a close, white would go to p8 and reduce the moyo. I wanted to draw white to 3-3 on lower left. :)

Yup O16 starts to look good.
