Re: Go in Manhattan, New York

I need some help with a retail problem.

I'm in LAX right now, and I realized that I forgot my barcode scanner. I need to buy one in NY. I've been calling office supply stores in NY and all say that they don't stock them.

I need a barcode scanner with a USB connector before 11am Wednesday . I'll ...

Re: WANTED: (for my 5yo daughter) Level Up #1 (Xmas present)

I got the first few books for my nephew a few years ago, and he really liked them, so I think this is a great idea. Good luck in your search (and sorry to reply to your post without having one to sell).

Re: #243, Violence vs. Loons

Just for fun:

According to Zen, Black should play Q12 or P8 next; the game is close, but white has a slightly higher chance of winning (although it considers black to be ahead in territory right now).

CrazyStone likes exchanging G18 for F18 first, then H14. CS also thinks the game is ...

Not sure whether resp. where there are some hidden irony tags here … I guess I’ll just take it as a compliment

No, I'm really concerned. If everyone behaved this way, the world would be deprived of massive amounts of hyperbolic exchanges, attacks on other posters' intelligence, the application ...

Re: Go Memes

I had forgotten about the "Get Strong at..." parodies, but I suppose that could be considered a meme originating from go culture:

This cracked me up. I can't tell you how many times I've thought of the "Y U NO" guy when watching game reviews. Sorry to anyone who finds it even mildly offensive.

Re: How to run KGS?

When I saw the subject line my first thought was "with an iron fist" and a mental image of BigDoug came to mind.

I should add, that the reaction was based on his reputation. I actually like the guy.

I liked your post, but felt I should add (similar to your addendum) that I haven't had any ...

Dang. Had I known, I would have bid more for it (not to say I wouldn't have been outbid by the buyer).
