So I registered and completed my 20 ranked games required for playing in the tournament. I haven't seen any announcement yet about what time of day the first round will start. I assume it will be less than 48 hours from now. Does anybody have a clue?
Anybody else playing in this tournament?

Re: Tygem Pro Prelim
The official announcement came out this morning.
Hi All,
The exciting 1st Tygem Online Pro Prelim tournament will be up this weekend!
For those whose tygem ID is 5D and under, the first game will be played at 12:30 PM EDT Saturday, June 9th. Please note that some players will have a free ride because they will play with a BYE! The second game will be played at 12:30 PM EDT Sunday, June 10th.
For those whose Tygem ID is 6D or above, you will begin your tournament 8 days later.
The detailed paring will be up online very soon.
Good luck everyone!

Re: Tygem Pro Prelim
So the pairings are up. As I only have access to Tygem through an iPad, I apologize in advance to my opponent, as there doesn't appear to be a chat feature. So, Thinaskite, I wish you good luck and have fun in our game.
The pairing also says the game will be played on the AGA server of Tygem, but that is not a listed choice for me. Will this change later, or am I doomed to miss this game?
Thanks, if anyone can help.

Re: Tygem Pro Prelim
So how's the tournament going for you? Did you win? Did you show up? I heard a lot of people didn't show. I showed, but I lost. =)
I don't think I'll be playing on Tygem much in the future, mainly because there are so few English speakers compared to KGS. I also don't care for the rating system and file format of game files. :/

Re: Tygem Pro Prelim
I showed and lost as well, but I had a great time.
Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be playing on Tygem either, but for the sole reason I couldn't find a way to chat on the iPad (I don't have access to a PC). I felt like a jerk not being able to wish my opponent a good game and have a friendly review afterward. Oh well.

I lost my game as well...
