Any books you would recommend to a dan level player? (honest suggestions if possible :))

I would say the Graded Go Problems for Dan Players, definitely, and, perhaps, the Dictionary of Modern Fuseki, The Korean Style, the Dictionary of Basic Fuseki, and the 21st Century New Openings, Volume 1 & 2 (if you're interested in fuseki studies).
