I don't follow the pro scene all that closely, but the wild hair of Cho Chikun made me an instant fan the moment I saw him. One evening as I went to bed I began to tell my very sleepy wife about the recent article on Gogameguru which featured his game against Liu Xing in the Ing cup. "
You know Cho Chikun?" I asked, having discussed him earlier that day. She looked at me with bewilderment on her face and said "What's Joe Chicken?
Having typed this all out, it doesn't really seem all that funny anymore, but it was hilarious at the time so I thought I might share.

My beloved was similarly unimpressed by my account of Cho Chikun's latest adventures - although she was excited to hear that the tournament took place at the Imperial Xiamen Resort (?!)
