Moyo Go Studio seems to be available again

Post by Ellyster »

I know that this was a controversial topic around here, and I don't wanna start a political flamewar in which I'm not interested (and it was far before I first read this forum), but I couldn't avoid to notice that the web of Moyo Go Studio has been restored to its near original status and the Moyo Go Studio seems to be available for buying again ($27).

Because I'm working on Professional Move Prediction, revising my notes for an state-of-the-art I noticed this change in its webpage, Frank deGroot's software claims to have the maximum average (an awesome 42%) sadly it hasn't been yet (and can't be) reproduced so it's not an acepted result (in the scientific community standards), due to the lack of a paper with information on its evaluation criteria, training data, testing data, and algorithm pseudocode (not public yet).

Again, avoiding any kind of controversy now that everything (and everyone) seems to be cooled down, and judgeing only the high quality of the software (that I had the opportunity of trying it quite years ago) I think that this (if it's not a technical glitch on the webpage, hopefully) a very good news for the Go world, and all the Go students/researchers out there.

So, I post it here, for the attention of anyone that may be interested.
