Cho Chihoon achieved 1400 wins by beating Hideki Gomatsu 9p. His first ever win as a pro was against Yguchi Seichi 1p in 5/8/68. It has been 44 years since Cho became pro 1p. Currently he has 3 students Kim Soojun 8p, Matumoto Dakehisa 7p and Tsuruyama Atsushi 6p. Long Live Cho Chihoon!!!!!!!!!!!

Can anyone offer a comparison in baseball terms? Is this like Babe Ruth's 714 for example?

To provide perhaps a rough comparison... 1000 wins might be like 3000 hits, Cho's 1400 would be similar to Stan Musial's 3630.
