I have been a regular reader of this forum for some time and finally signed up.
I was introduced to Go when I was around 18 years old by a friend, we played together, I once visited the local go club with him. Anyway, I did not really get the hang of it back then. I stopped playing ( I did remeber some of the cool proverbs, though). Around 20 years later I got a copy of the novel "Shibumi", and actually bought it because of the goban on the cover. Actually that book got me re-interested in go, and I started to play on KGS. I have been through some kind of cycle several times in recent years now: I start to play online, I really enjoy it, but at some point I just do not want to spend my spare time in front of my computer ( I sit in front of it during work most of the time as well). This leads to a longer break, until I start to play again. Well, go is not meant to be played in front of a computer, it is meant to be played on a tablet PC
enough for now...
