Sakeus is trying to improve

Post by Sakeus »

Hello,
(my english is bad I hope u will get my message :)

after two tournaments I have rise to european 14k(no idea how i did it). Now I've decided to study for real.
I hope I will be able to reach single digit kyu in few months.
I plan to read Learn to play Go series and Opening theory made easy. I am posting my recent game from IGS(I am white). If anyone could tell me, what should I focus on the most, I would be thankful.
I will be posting updates and games regularly.

Hey there! I wish you luck in improving. I'm also trying to get stronger ^_^

I took a look at your game and a few easy fixes would make you alot stronger indeed. The thing I think you need most is to do some basic tsumego and tesuji problems. The opening doesn't matter that much at your level but it's still worth studying. I myself started out studying mostly the opening because I found it fun. But I think by far the fastest route is to study tsumego and tesuji alot and save the opening for when you understand fighting better and can read sequences better.
