Lee Sedol won 1,000th win and became 6th person to achieve this milestone in Korea.

Also he said he will retire after 3 years and move to USA to promote go. He also wish to be close to his daughter who is in Canada for study.

His daughter in Canada for study? I would assume that meant for university, but I know his daughter is only about 5 years old so am confused.

Not exactly, but to live there at least until his daughter goes to collage, in most cases of Koreans. If not so, I also can't understand why.
