I'd like to tenuki to reduce whites framework, but that seems like greedy play. better to connect up and trade an earlier reduction of the framework for getting to destroy more of the top later.

At this point it is clear that B is far ahead in territory, though he has little potential in the center of the board. I need to make some magic happen in the center if I want to keep up. I seriously debated invading the left side before moving here, but there is no guaranty that it would end in sente. My stones really need to work together to make points in the center, and I think this is the best move to do that.

I don't think white's move is sente here. As black, I think I would just E10 or similar.

This sequence seems promising for B. Get in some forcing moves and then jump away as lightly as possible while still putting some pressure on whites top group.

I considered this move carefully before choosing the shoulder hit previously. I have nothing to worry about. Either B connects his stone, and gives me massive territory on the side like so:

This is going to start a fight. I'm worried about leaning W leaning on my bottom group, it is pretty stable but W could get one maybe two moves against it.
The 3 space jump is an over extension. White CAN jump into it and cut but I'm fine with that. White is undercut on the right side so if he wants to eat the cutting stones I can live with that to reduce his center. A pincer is expected and then I will lean on the white group up top to get shape.

No sooner had I posted my previous move than I though of this reply. It seems much better than my previously posted variations because W's group becomes much stronger and works better with the moyo below.

The idea behind my move is that if white blocks with the hane at a becomes a nice way to make shape in the center later. Next I want to aim at either b or c. I'm not sure which is bigger. The 1 space jump(b) seems like it should be in terms of raw points. But I haven't managed to decided that the hane(c) is no a urgent move to keep my bottom group safe.
By my count the territory is still close enough I don't need to do anything drastic to reduce the center.

The Hane looks dangerous to me. This sequence could lead to a squeeze where My groups get split, and B has sente to make good shape. My chosen move is a little more slack on the side, but looks like better an safer shape for W. Assuming B playe something like d, I am torn between securing the bottom with a and making more of the center with b or c (or something like them). If W answers a, it is definitely better. But he may not. I dont think it really offers any danger to his group, but if Black plays at a, I have no territory on the bottom, and I need to respond or he can link up to O4. At the same time, I kind of feel that this is inconsistent with the moyo I have been building. I need a big center to win.

This might be very greedy, and in retrospect I will wish that I tended to my bottom group. However I think the point spread isn't to far apart so there is no need to do anything drastic.

I am not really sure how to best go about reducing his moyo on the left, so I guess I will build my own moyo first. This seems to be the focal point for my moyo. If B takes it I don't have enough even if I reduce the left side with a successful invasion.

This might end up being a bad reduction but it looks like it is on the sector line

I think if I wait any longer, this invasion will be too late.

I now feel that I need to defend here. t may be inconsistent with my previous move, but making life in the corner is gote, and I think I will lose if I let B get the first move here.
