Yunzi Stones With Kaya Board - bad idea?

General discussions about gobans, etc., go here. If you're selling go equipment, it should go in the Trading Post.

I like nice things too, but it seems to me that scratches and dents are a natural consequence of the energetic struggles fought on our 19x19 battlefields. If you want to keep your board and/or stones pristine, then box them up and put them in a safe place where nothing can happen to them. But if you want to play Go the way it was meant to be played, then play with honor and intensity and embrace the battle scars with pride!
