For various reasons I have just moved to Internet Explorer, and I notice that any boards I try and view on the forum just show as large grey squares. Does anyone know what specific plug-in is required?
Thanks!

Are you talking about sgf boards or go diagram boards?
We don't know who we are; we don't know where we are.
Each of us woke up one moment and here we were in the darkness.
We're nameless things with no memory; no knowledge of what went before,
No understanding of what is now, no knowledge of what will be.

Re: IE10 and displying boards on Lx19
I hear you Joaz. Unfortunately I have a few issues with this new computer of mine, running Windows 8, and some of the programs by default run IE. I've tried everything to get them to look to Chrome, my normal browser, but they are hardwired, it seems.
Primarily HP SimplePass, but it appears easier to just try out IE for a while seeing as how it works.
I have to say though, it's not the nicest browser I've ever used, so perhaps that will soon outweigh anything else...

I think as an admin/mod, you're supposed to help people, Joaz.
Anyway, that's quite strange, bleep. The viewer, Eidogo, worked pretty well on previous versions of Internet Explorer, and IE10 is pretty good about JavaScript support (better than a lot of browsers that people are currently accessing this forum with).
Unfortunately, I don't have IE10 on my machine to try and debug this. But here's a start:
1) You do have JavaScript enabled in IE, right?
2) Hit F12, which should bring up the developer tools, and look for a tab/button that reads script. Click on it, then reload the page, and see if anything appears in the right side, of the screen, which will be labeled console. If it's a JavaScript bug, there's decent odds that you'll see some kind of error message there.

Re: IE10 and displying boards on Lx19
Thanks hyperpape,
I went to try that after reading it, and for some reason, it suddenly seems fine. This after looking for a day or two at big grey squares, so who knows what the story was!
Appreciate the help, and Joaz is quite right to recommend alternative browsers, this one sucks! Now let me start whingeing about Skype under Windows 8...!

By the way, if anyone is lurking in KGS right now, and wants to play, on the 7kyu level, look me up. I'm trying to get back into go after a few months of not playing...
