Tab names

Post by crux »

All the open tabs from this site have titles that start with "Life In 19x19 * View topic", so the topic can't be identified once you go past a few tabs. Can we change that so the title of the topic comes first?

I think that one had been suggested already in a general topic. I agree, it would help a lot.

All the tab names are starting with "Life in 19x19" again at the moment.

Use a browser like Opera and stack them and you won't have that problem. Right now I have 25 open tabs (only one of them 19x19) on a single line in the tab bar and all are fully readable.
Still officially AGA 5d but I play so irregularly these days that I am probably only 3d or 4d over the board (but hopefully still 5d in terms of knowledge, theory and the ability to contribute).

I believe it is fixed... let me know if there are issues... be sure to clear your cache if you don't see a change.
I'm thinking...

Right, we could tell everyone to change browsers, assuming that their current browser choice just reflects ignorance, or we could make L19 follow best practices.

False dichotomy...we could do both!

Not a very sensible answer. I was trying to offer a constructive solution in case the problem was not quickly solved. A helpful suggestion is not the same as telling people to do something.
