Ko in the corner

I am currently playing this game (it already proceeded past this point, so I am not cheating :D ).

I have added a description/question at move :b81:. Please help me :)

Trying to live in the corner is going to be difficult, as you point out. Your best bet is going to be to play a move outside that threatens to assist your corner stones in living. Your goal will be to make White defend the corner so that you can pick up points on the outside.

To that end, you might look at playing 81 at B6 or B7.

As you say, you are locally dead in the corner (it's only fair as he had a small low shimari there!) and white was kind to ko. Instead of trying to live the sort of plan I would have in such a position is to play something fancy like c6 to exploit the thinness of that 2 space jump and make miai of either getting some reduction there or living/ko in the corner. Or simply b4 yourself instead of d2 as if he blocks you have a ko, if he takes your stone or b2 placement it seems you aren't quite dead with the cuts aji but you need to read.
