Which is your favorite ç è¶?
Anyone here drink sencha, the Japanese green tea? These days I drink two brands, Yamamotoyama and Maeda-en. Which of these do you prefer? If there are other brands of sencha out there, please indulge me

tekesta, my very beginner (29-kyu) understanding of tea, including sencha,
is that it is exactly like wine -- very long history, very subtle nuances,
and very big gaps in price differences. Exactly like wine. (I remember seeing
on a menu wines priced at US$10,000+ per bottle. I believe they also have
very good tea at equivalent levels.)
If you are lucky enough to meet tea experts (pro-level
),
they would be able to tell you, just like wine,
some tea X is about kyu; some tea Y is about 2-dan, etc. YMMV.
