Re: Goban with timer for iPad
There is nothing good I can write about this app.
1) you never know which colour is supposed to play.
2) very annoying message pop up every time if you try to play and opponent has not pressed a clock yet.
3) if a pop up message is displayed the clock is still running and you lost a time.
4) you need to press a clock manually every time,
5) it count territory pretty terrible and can't add a komi so it's better to do calculations on your own.
6) there is only absolute time, no byo, no canadian, no hourglass, no fisher time. Nothing just sudden death mode.
7) interface is rather terrible with annoying pop ups, selecting dead stones is bad (you can't undo). There are only just few buttons and still it is messed up.
8) after a game if you close a pop up message with the result you can't get it again. Sorry - you need to count it all by yourself now.
9) you can't even save a game, open in other app, nor e-mail it,
It is buggy, badly designed, and not too usable because of all little irritating things. How can it be? It is just a board with a clock, right? This app was probably not even tested. Written, published and abandoned at the same time.
