YouTube Playlists

I liked the old YouTube. Back when organizing your lists was easy. When the videos loaded right the first time. When videos played smoothly. When a bunch of xenophobes hadn't yet discovered how to ban access to all the videos to anyone outside the U.S.

And now my newest gripe: playlists.

I can't find a way to watch a video outside a playlist if it's part of one. Worse, I can't load any single video in my Favorites list without viewing them in a playlist with all 63 others.

I usually figure these things out, but this one stumps me. A quick Google search tells me every other person out there LOVES playlists and NEVER wants to see an unaccompanied video. Huh.

I wish youtube would actually check the veracity of copyright claims before they take down videos; the claims seem to be almost invariably bogus.

The playlists really annoy me too. You can just delete the "&list=x" from the adress bar, but it would be nice not to have load every video twice.
