GO clubs near Pensacola Florida?

I am hoping to find out if there are any GO clubs even remotely near me,,,OR any GO players that might want to get together to play. Of course, if there were any they are probably going to have the headache of teaching me and giving alot of handicaps!

OP is 7-8 hours away, but Hattiesburg is only 1.5 hours away from Central Mississippi Go Club www.cmgo.org.

For anyone in the Pensacola, FL area, we're setting up a go game day on January 1st for those that might seek an alternative to football. Exact location and time still to be decided, but it will be convenient to Pensacola and Navarre.

I'm looking to start up a Go Club near Fort Walton Beach, but I'd be willing to drive to Pensacola if that means having players. I'm a DGS 6k (~4k KGS), and willing to teach DDKs. I have my own board and equipment, but I don't have any spares at the moment.

If you guys are still on the forums, I'd love to set up a once or twice a week meeting time.

So things we need to figure out:

Meeting place: Are we going to meet in FWB? Pensacola? Gulf Breeze? Navarre? Somewhere else? In a coffee shop? Restaurant? Library?
Meeting time: Which days and times are good?

I currently work from home. So any time is a time I can make work. But I prefer weekends. Maybe Saturday afternoon? I had spoken with a few places around FWB recently about putting us up. The FWB Library offered to sponser us as a club, but they have rather short hours. I was thinking TBS comics as well, because I have good friends who work there.

Any suggestions? Comments? Ideas?

EDIT: It seems that maybe a meeting place near Gulf Breeze or P'cola would be more workable for the other folks.

Sorry for the bump. It's been a few hours and I've done some busy work in the background, and I know at least one person who was following the thread saw my previous post.

I went and created a club account with AGA. I registered the domain name http://nwfgo.org and threw together a craptastic Wordpress site.

I listed my information for contact information, but we can change that to whichever sucker gets elected pres.

Saturday or Sunday afternoon would work the best, in general, except this coming weekend.

Off topic, but I grew up in that area. It's not often you come across Pensacola or Fort Walton online.
Unfortunately I'm pretty far away now. This makes me want to get the local group together again

Alright, I'll call it decided. I updated the website, the usgo chapter information, and posted the information to craigslist.
