How often do you visit L19?
As admin, I'm curious how often people visit. I'm wondering if a change or an announcement is made, how long is it before I can expect that the majority of active members have had an opportunity to see it.
Thanks,
JB

I marked multiple times a day, but that's only during work hours. Usually I'm not so good about checking it in the evenings and on weekends.
And when work gets crazy, I can go extended periods without checking it.
Where was that option to vote for?!

It seems like this poll is bound to be skewed by the fact that the people who view it most often will see it soonest, and those who visit less frequently may miss it entirely, as they probably don't read every thread.

Re: How often do you visit L19?
I have the feeling that this kind of vote will give a distorted result biased towards people who frequent l19 a lot, simply because the rest won't take much notice of it?
(Or something like that.) Like asking people on the street: "How many hours did you spent walking on the street today?". Clearly the sample is biased towards people whose time walking on the street that day was strictly greater than zero in the first place. (I'm not sure I make much sense.)
edit: skydyr beat me to it.

Multiple times per day right now, but since I study for tests I spend most of my time in front of the pc anyways. I guess this will drop a little for me over summer vacation.

Re: How often do you visit L19?
If I had to venture a guess, I probably visit the forum about:
⌈((0.8^D) * L)⌉ times a day
where L = Life Change Units from Holmes and Rahe Stress Scale and D is the average number of days that have elapsed among the listed events.
In other words, the more I post, the more stressed I am due to recent events in my daily life.

That is true, and of course I am aware of it. But even a skewed poll gives me some information.

Re: How often do you visit L19?
Usually I visit several times a day, I always have a tab open with “unread posts”, and sometimes I reload it every 30 minutes :-! but in the past few weeks, perhaps the last month or two, I’ve had IRL things and lots of work to keep me busy.Joaz Banbeck wrote:As admin, I'm curious how often people visit.
