So, since I'm back from holiday, lets get this thing back on track.

I am asking the semi-finalists in the loser bracket to play their games at the latest July 14th . That's:

crux - Practise
tommyray - Uberdude

Then, the winners of those games should try to schedule their match before the end of the month.

Meanwhile, my own match with ez4u should also happen before the end of the month.

Thanks for the smile! :D

And I'm glad to see the discussions picking back up on this. How else am I going to get my two games in a year? :blackeye:

On the actual topic of tournaments associated with the forum - I think the best we can do is set hard time limits, and stop being nice about it. (I benefited this last time, but it does just extend things.)

I'll reserve final judgment, though, for Joaz's "marvelous" idea.

In a rather shocking turn of events (at least to me), I managed to come out a few points ahead in the end against Herman. After a pretty good start for me, he was busy beating me up and taking command of the game when his top side suddenly expired. As the saying goes, "If you can't be good, be lucky!"

Strictly speaking I think that would be venkman - Practise, or crux - Loons. No reply yet though from him.

So, due to continued lack of interest, I'm ending this tournament now.

Everyone in the losers bracket hereby loses, which makes ez4u the winner.

Haha, nice ez4u. And congrats on the win!

Thanks for the work you did on this Herman (at least keeping it going and finishing it off)! And glad at least you guys got your game in. I do enjoy looking them over.
