Skydyr suggested we post this up for a few comments, I'm putting here rather than my journal as we both would like a few comments if people were willing. I was very tired playing this game and it's my first game back in a long time so I made some terrible misreads.

Re: Myself and Skydyr
We don't know who we are; we don't know where we are.
Each of us woke up one moment and here we were in the darkness.
We're nameless things with no memory; no knowledge of what went before,
No understanding of what is now, no knowledge of what will be.
Each of us woke up one moment and here we were in the darkness.
We're nameless things with no memory; no knowledge of what went before,
No understanding of what is now, no knowledge of what will be.

Re: Myself and Skydyr
12: Very good, quite an important point for both.
18: Finish off the LR corner. If it comes under heavy attack, that's a huge headache. The move you played is big, but if you want sente to play there, try R6 instead.
20: This induces W to jump up and surround B, doesn't it?
48: This is very big, but remember that getting sente to return to p10 should be one of your top priorities.
54: My instinct is to play p10. Let W start a silly ko if he wants to.
55, 57: I'm not sure why W isn't fighting the ko, and using the extensions as local ko threats. At the very least, get B to burn some aji!
62: Call me crazy, but I would still play p10.
66: I think f5 works better. (I still like drawing back to f5 for 68)
70-82: Not sure what we're aiming at. These moves seem to have strengthened W.
100: Just connect the ko.

Re: Myself and Skydyr
From black 104 until black 260, white could cut at C4 and start a ko for the two black stones. After white 197, it's even worse for black. The sequence is White C4; B4, C3; B3, D3.

Yeah, that happened in the original tree and black lost the group outright, so we backed out of it to count.Dusk Eagle wrote:From black 104 until black 260, white could cut at C4 and start a ko for the two black stones.
