I'm looking for a table board 50-60mm, Shin Kaya or possibly Hon Kaya. Before buying new, I thought I would try here to see if anyone has one they are wanting to sell. Thank you.

Do you live in the US? If so, you might like this: http://www.ymimports.com/p-854-shin-kay ... jJ4rD_JJQA
I came to go through Kawabata and was introduced to a whole new world.

Traffic around here is slow and few of us are parting with our gear. I suggest your best chances to obtain a used go board are, sadly, on eBay, But every now and then excellent bargains can be found or mutually satisfying transactions occur.
Depending on where you live, there may be an active go club nearby. The fact that you are looking for used gear might be someone else's opportunity to get the cash needed for a long-delayed upgrade.

Re: Wanted to Buy: Table Board, Shin Kaya or Hon Kaya
hey - quick plug here for the place I've gotten 2 kaya boards from - Shogun Imports.
Basically they are japanese antiques dealers with a soft spot for go boards.
New stock shows up on ebay fairly frequently as the owners go to Japan for estate sales.
On Ebay he sells as SailerKing. He puts up the used gear at a good low starting bid and lets the bidders sort out the price.
I love the table (75$) and floor boards (325$) I've gotten from them. Both were packed well and arrived promptly.
I've dealt with them over the phone as well .. nice folks.
I suggest adding http://myworld.ebay.ca/sailerking to your saved sellers and watch what he posts for a few weeks. A lot of folks watch their auctions so be prepared to fight for what you want in the last 10mins. Be aware they also have high-end (perfect condition) antique boards that are not auctions and they don't let go of those as easily.
Just as an example, I peeked at current items and they have a couple boards up. One set at 1600$ (nice board) and one auction that is $1.35 right now (also a floor board but with some dmg).
happy hunting!
