Hey folks, I'm back on a sporadic basis, and would appreciate if someone could take a look at the opening of my last game (before real fighting began) and offer any suggestions.

has to be at R17. The 3-3 is the vital point in the corner for both sides. I think if black had extended to Q13 for

Thank you all for your suggestions. SoDesuNe, I think I may have been trying a bit too hard to be cute, and should've focused on the more basic priorities a bit.
Someday I want to be strong enough to earn KGS[-].
