Hello,
I had the occasion to play (some years ago) using an old czech go set. The most remarkable thing about it, was the set of stones. The stones were flat and very thin (I'd say about 3-4 mm). They felt cool and a little heavy in the hand. I was very impressed.
The set was bought in prague in the eighties. I was wondering, does anyone know about this kind of stones? Are they still made? Still sold?
Since, I'll be traveling to prague next week, I'd also like to ask the community about go equipment shops in prague.
Thanks
czech thin stones

Re: czech thin stones
There are no specialized shops in Prague, but the tournament organizer Vladimir Danek is also a maker of go equipment and I think he's likely to be displaying/selling some of his stuff on the tournament.
I think I know what you mean when you describe that stones, but I don't know any details either - maybe it's best to ask at Vladimir.Danek <at> treygo.cz.
